Good Morning! We will be hosting a free pajama spirit day for students to bring awareness on children battling cancer. Staff and students may wear their favorite appropriate pajamas to support on Friday, December 12. If you would like to support our team fundraiser, you can donate $1 on Friday or go online to donate. However, this will be a free spirit day for students. No slippers or crocs allowed in school please. https://give.connecticutchildrens.org/team/790071

Picture Re-Take Day is Tuesday, December 2nd. Students who may retake their photos include:
Any students who were absent on Picture Day
Any new students to our school
Anyone who returned their picture package/were unhappy with the first photos
All 8th Grade Students for Individual and Class Photos

Starting next week the JSM Spirit Cart will be selling items from 11:20-1:05 each day. All proceeds will go back to our school.

Please see the attached flyer for the Newhallville Police Station Toy Giveaway at 596 Winchester Ave, New Haven- Wednesday, December 17th, 2025 from 6-8pm. A child must be present.

On Monday, Novermber 10th we will be hosting a Veteran's Day Program here at John Martinez. We are looking for any Veterans who would be interested in attending and be recognized for their service. If you have any interest in attending the event please reach out. Thanks!
